Joule Goddess was created by Yvette Rose, whose work focuses on the gut-brain connection through meditation and nutrition. Joule Goddess’ clients are coached on methods that stimulate neurotransmitters that in turn send messages to the brain that elevate productivity and help clients achieve their goals. By using this new approach of gut-brain connection, Yvette has been able to successfully treat clients to feel less anxious or depressed and instead use nutrition, meditation and movement as the foundation for becoming more creative and productive, with less health issues. The company also sells all-natural nutritional bars called Joule Bars, made entirely from gluten-free, plant-based ingredients that support gut-brain health.
In order to continue growing the Joule Goddess community, Yvette wanted the additional support from advisors who could specifically aid in refining the company’s business strategy as well as help establish solid marketing.
Working one-on-one with her dedicated AdvisoryCloud account manager, Yvette created a company profile detailing Joule Goddess’ mission and goals, as well as the skills Yvette was seeking in potential advisors.
Yvette explained how her “dedicated account manager at AdvisoryCloud has been fantastic. She has been amazing to work with and very willing to share her insights, both about the AdvisoryCloud process and general marketing knowledge.”
The AdvisoryCloud platform allows companies like Joule Goddess to connect with professionals from a broad range of backgrounds and expertise and receive feedback in different areas of their business.
Through AdvisoryCloud, business leaders are able to connect with people they otherwise would have never met yet who are now a valuable resource to the company. For Yvette, that person is Jeffrey Jensen, CEO of The Brand Build. Jeffrey’s background in performance-based marketing has given him a deep understanding of best practices for growing an online presence through a range of strategies, including advertising, website engagement, social media, and lead generation. As an e-commerce business, Joule Goddess’ current initiatives were a great match for Jeffrey’s skills.
Jeffrey first conducted an audit of Joule Goddess’ brand, in which he assessed the company’s website, email campaigns, ad funnels, various marketing materials, as well as the contract and deliverables between Yvette and the third-party SEO firm she had previously hired. Right away, Jeffrey uncovered areas of the contract that the firm had skipped and that Yvette was not aware of, which then allowed Yvette to recoup a portion of her money from the firm.
“The work and effort Jeff has put into helping me has been fantastic. He is very knowledgeable, committed, willing to work day and night with me, and has been instrumental in cleaning up a lot of bad work from previous marketers,” said Yvette. “Jeff really earned my trust and I was able to hire him on as a consultant.”
Jeffrey noted how well the pieces came together between them, and he and Yvette now work together on a monthly retainer where they focus on new ways to increase sales online.
“My first goal was to identify the opportunities where my skills could add value for Joule Goddess,” explained Jeffrey. “Having helped Yvette grow different sales channels and working to set the company up for long-term success has been a great experience. At the same time, I’ve been able to expand my career as an advisor in an exciting way.”
Jeffrey also explained how his past efforts to find advisory work through traditional placement firms were not as effective as AdvisoryCloud was in connecting him with meaningful opportunities. Jeffrey’s advisory role with Joule Goddess not only demonstrates the powerful impact advisors can have on a business, but also the mutually beneficial impact on professional careers.
