I have 25 years of experience managing multi-million dollar projects in New York City. I have coordinated with architects, engineers, design consultants, and contractors, and was responsible for the development of budgets, scope, and overall construction plans. I worked on design review, coordination, constructability, bidding, contracting and management, and created contract requirements, qualifications, protocols, and controls.
I have experience identifying and analyzing risks, with a focus on anticipating potential challenges. I assess the impact and likelihood of risks to create mitigation strategies, making proactive decisions. One of the most impactful projects I've been involved in as an executive was the 5th Avenue Redevelopment Project. This was a comprehensive building-wide renovation of a landmarked building in a prime location. The project encompassed a vast 225,000 square feet and involved gut demolition, reconfiguration of shear walls, structural steel modifications, MEP infrastructure and utility upgrades, elevator modernizations, window replacements, and a significant 25,000sf vertical expansion which included a new façade, roof garden, and terraces.
My responsibilities were extensive, from the development of the budget, scope, and overall construction plan to design review, coordination, constructability analysis, bidding, contracting, and management. I also played a pivotal role in creating master and subcontractor contract requirements, qualifications, protocols, and controls. This project was not just about construction; it was about revitalizing a landmark, making it modern while preserving its historical significance.
