I find that I have to travel much less to help customers due to the use of tools like Zoom, WebEx. It saves customers money and can compress service delivery timelines. There are several, however, the one I can cite here is when I was the CIO of Coca-Cola Fountain. I was tasked with upgrading the entire IT application environment while at the same time reducing costs. And, I was not given any Capex to do it. Through this process, in about 18 months, I reduced the number of apps from 114 to 57, reduced the IT budget from $50 million to $37 million.
