MEET DANNY STROUD

Danny Stroud is a solutions-focused senior executive with more than 30 years of experience in financial services, corporate services, technology, networking, and telecom industries. His broad areas of expertise include team building, corporate growth strategies, turnarounds, executive coaching, and strategic planning and execution. Throughout his career, Danny has held leadership positions with Neptune Mobile, Veraz Ventures, Auto-trol Technology, and AppliedTheory.
Danny has held several board seats and advisory roles as a C-Level executive, however, he has never held board positions for outside companies. Hoping to expand his professional portfolio and fill his spare time with new experiences, Danny joined AdvisoryCloud.

Shortly after joining AdvisoryCloud, Danny received a public Advisor Profile on the platform, showcasing his relevant experience and applicable expertise that companies from anywhere in the world can see. Danny also began utilizing Advisor IQ, a program of continuing education courses provided by AdvisoryCloud, to expand his skill set as an advisor and remain current on the latest boardroom trends.
Once he established himself as an expert advisor, Danny began using the tools and resources on the platform to promote his expertise. For instance, he began answering questions posted on the platform by companies seeking advice. He also started applying to specific roles where his knowledge and experience would be an asset. In his search for advisor roles, Danny was particularly interested in Delaware Nation Economic Development Authority (DNEDA) and applied to the advisor position.

BEING AN ADVISOR

Within three weeks of joining AdvisoryCloud, Danny had established his first long-term advisory role with DNEDA. He helps the company to uphold financial statements, understand governance issues, manage cash flow, and establish core competencies. He meets on a weekly basis with every C-Level executive individually and bimonthly with the entire team to review their business goals and institute a long-term plan to achieve these goals.
DNEDA invited Danny to join its leadership team at their annual company retreat where he presented a full-scale 10-year strategic plan. Additionally, Danny was chosen to participate in AdvisoryCloud’s Featured Advisor series based on his impressive background, tenacity on the platform, and success as an advisor.
